N1.1bn fraud: Court pauses judgment to allow ex-Plateau state governor, Joshua Dariye, use the toilet

Justice Adebukola Banjoko of the FCT High Court, Abuja is currently delivering the final judgement in a case of fraud involving former governor of Plateau State, Joshua Dariye. The governor is standing trial for allegedly embezzling N1.1 billion while in office.

The ex-governor said a prayer just before the court began its session.

 

As the court proceedings went on, he informed the court that he wants to use the toilet. Justice Banjoko has now paused the judgement and is awaiting his return from the toilet.

Recall that last month, Former Taraba state governor, Jolly Nyame, was sentenced to 14 years in jail for embezelling N2.1bn while he was in office.
